Members of D.O.I.T. include local downtown business owners, residents, school district representatives, Shippensburg University representatives and other key stakeholders interested in the mission.

Our Mission
Downtown Organizations Investing Together of Shippensburg is a community-based non-profit organization devoted to enhancing the appearance and economic vitality of the central business district of the Shippensburg area.
D.O.I.T. works to make the community of Shippensburg a safe and productive place to live, work, and play. To accomplish this goal, the Shippensburg downtown area must be maintained as a viable and vibrant place to shop, meet friends, and neighbors, and to be entertained.

- Christmas Parade, formerly Dickens' Days (proceeds pay for all celebration events including decorations in the downtown)
- Adopt a Pole Program (to replace holiday garland on street lights)
- ShipShape (Spring Clean-up)
